Anubis forces a Bridge open long enough to throw Salugi onto the Alexandria docks, and the crossing's backlash starts a warehouse fire that endangers the covenant's hidden Granary. Salugi turns the disaster into his introduction, saving lives in full view of the court while quietly mapping where Egypt keeps its secret. Guardians Femi and Babu scramble to hide all eighteen cats before royal inspectors arrive, only for a palace banquet — and a court love-song Salugi narrates into something colder — to buy Cleopatra's trust one verse at a time. When Ptolemy's regents raid the Granary looking for leverage, Salugi's timely 'help' saves the cats and finishes his real mission: he now knows exactly where they are. By midnight he holds a title at court, and on the terrace, alone, he looks toward the Granary — and toward the Roman sails already visible offshore.
