Rooftop courier Kiki and street performer Mito have both gone to ground in Kyoto, each unaware the other is there — until Salugi's crew closes in on both at once. A rooftop chase and a market ambush collide in the same alley, and old bad blood between the two women nearly gets them caught before they've even met properly. Cornered on a festival stage with a crowd one wrong move from a stampede, Mito does the only thing that works — she performs — and a furious Kiki joins her, because a duet holds a crowd a solo can't. The scepter and the tattoo spike so hard that Salugi's crew doesn't need luck to find them anymore, and in the wreckage of the escape Salugi comes away with a fragment that proves Mito's Bridge has a twin somewhere else in the world.
