Sekhmet's Warning
When the assembled Good Luck Cats' combined power sets a Marrakech rooftop alight, the war-goddess Sekhmet steps out of the smoke to give Vivek a deadline inside the deadline — while an Umbrax hunter closes in on the light of it.
In the medina of Marrakech, eleven of the eighteen Good Luck Cats and their guardians have gathered in secret, and the strain of that much power under one roof ignites a real fire. As Vivek and the others fight to contain it and keep from being seen, the missing twelfth guardian, Amelia, finally reaches them — and the moment she completes the circle, Sekhmet manifests in the flame itself to deliver a warning: fewer than a dozen and a Bridge stays dark forever, all eighteen and they could do far more than open a door, and they now have just enough to try — but trying could burn a Bridge for good. Umbrax boss Aisha Al-Qazzaz, who has been laundering intelligence out of the medina for years, reads the energy spike from a rooftop away and moves her people in before the smoke clears. The group escapes across the rooftops by the skin of their teeth and holds a quiet, coded send-off chant the night before they attempt the first wake. The episode ends with Aisha's spotters marking the safehouse from a distance — the location is no longer a secret.
