The eighteen Good Luck Cats are the originals — Bastet's gift at Kadesh, each bound to a Bridge, each one the story follows. But the robots that first terraformed Earth built and crossed other felines too, and people have kept building and crossing them ever since. Nobody has ever counted them all — the honest number is somewhere past six hundred million, and climbing. We're not going to pretend otherwise, and we're not going to try to list them. Below are a handful Fadwa has actually drawn: not a roster, not a census — just kin worth meeting.
